My life has been a scientific experiment, and continues to be. I was not raised with any spiritual practices or religion, but I have been a seeker of truth from the beginning. My searching led me to discover what real happiness and real love are, and a dissolution of the unreal.

When reading for a role in a play about a Sufi Master, I learned that in Sufism God is ‘the Ocean of Love’—pure existence. This speaks to a mystical experience in the Greek Islands in my twenties, where I became love in the ocean. I experienced also that only love was real—that it was existence itself. Later I studied Sufism for some years. A teaching and an experience I think of often is that nothing else is real except for love.

This blue that holds these words is a photo taken under that same ocean those years ago.

In Sufism, there is a teaching called infidelity to God. To feel low self-esteem, any kind of lack in confidence, and also to think you are more than others—both are infidelity to God. Because in Sufism there is no “I”; there is only God, the divine, love, which is the fabric of existence, all that is real. So, if you feel low self-esteem or arrogance, who is this ‘I’ you are referring to? You are saying that the illusion is real—the illusion of the “I” that feels it is more or less than others is who you are identifying with, which isn’t divine and is not love. I am dedicated to love, to truth, to kind, compassionate ways.

My Dad was a Buddhist monk of the Thai Forest Theravadan lineage. My parents met in the monastery when my Mum was visiting.

My dad died when I was young, but I have trained and still sometimes study with the monastics regarding Ultimate Reality and unshakeable peace, which I have found to be the same as God, divine love, from Sufism. I studied in the Kundalini Yoga lineage a yogic healing called Sat Nam Rasayan. To give this healing, you have to become empty of any judgment of another and yourself. My training in Buddhism and Sufism gives me strong skills with this. I bring this to my work with others—my ability to be empty and to be in true existence, love, divine intelligence, going beyond any other judgement system I may otherwise have.

I look forward to meeting with you in truth, in love, in any encounters we may explore together.
